A Time to Give...

The world is falling apart. This is nothing new. So what seperates the givers from the receivers? When do we become so angry and jaded and stop giving and stop trying to help?

My nephew is ten years old. For Christmas he decided to donate all of his saved allowance to a no kill animal shelter. While he is a kid after my own heart, where did he learn this was a good thing to do?

The majority of city dwellers will walk by a homeless person at least once a day. How often do they give that person money or even acknowledge their presence? Probably one in a million. Maybe we don't give because we are asked so frequently, but at least smile. At least say hello. If you can't give your money, you can at least give someone decency. We are all human.

Let's fix the world!
